In Nurimanovsky district, volunteers participate in the summer gathering of medicinal plants. Famous herbalist Mikhail Gordeyev set up a tent camp for residents of the republic, as well as neighboring regions. Volunteers who want to earn, learn the beneficial properties of herbs and help the local Phytocenter to replenish stocks. In the midst of a busy day, they manage to enjoy the smells of nature. Under the scorching sun, these women collect medicinal herbs to take them to the phytocenter and earn. Yulia Ivanova was taught to find useful plants in childhood by her mother, and that was her grandmother. These skills helped a resident of the Red Key to get a job, and at the same time to replenish their own reserves for the winter.

After the rains in the Nurimanovsky district began to bloom meadowsweet. The plant is rich in vitamin C, helps with rheumatism and headaches. So that the grass does not lose its beneficial properties, it is laid out on the shelves of the drying room, where the required temperature is maintained.

Up to 200 kilograms of medicinal plants are brought to the phytocenter per day. But this volume is still not enough. The demand for healthy herbs exceeds supply. Famous herbalist Mikhail Gordeyev has been asking volunteers for four years to help them collect them. Recall mostly schoolchildren and students who are now on vacation.

Since May, 11 volunteers from Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk and Orenburg regions have been working here. They all live in a specially set up tent camp, eat in the field kitchen. In the evenings, the herbalist Gordeyev gives them lectures on the properties of medicinal herbs and the rules of collection. Young people find time for outdoor recreation.
